End of Summer Update

We hope you have had a great summer – we certainly have.  Broadstairs Folk Week was wonderful – great music, dancing and wasn’t it great to see the sun again!  We had a lovely evening dancing at the Pavilion on the Wednesday evening in between Ben Paley & Tab Hunter and Monroe’s Revenge – the evening was a sell-out with only a small space left to dance in!

Next on the list was Faversham Hop Festival – and again the weather was in our favour and it was a glorious weekend.  We were able to show off our newly refurbished boards (complete with our website address – hope you noticed) and had the early morning spot at 9:30 to get the festival off to a great start.

Then it was off to Deal Maritime Festival in September and the good weather continued to follow us around – wasn’t it just wonderful?  We had two sets at Deal which gave us a chance to get some refreshments at the Bohemian!

This last weekend saw us at Tenterden and despite some midweek rain the sun actually shone while we were dancing and we all had a great time.

We have had such great support from you all this summer – no matter how early we’ve danced – and we really do appreciate seeing you all, and would like to thank you for your lovely comments and emails.  Our next outing is at Rochester for the Christmas Dickens Festival on 5 and 6 December where once again we will be dancing in the Beer Festival marquee behind the Gordon House Hotel at 3:00 and 4:00 on both days.
