Well – what a summer Tanglefoot have had!
In June we were at Sevenoaks and nearly wiped out by heavy rain but you brought your umbrellas along and we had a great time dancing for you – even though it was a bit wet! We had our first visit to Ely in July – a lovely little festival, so make sure you get along there some time! In August we were at Broadstairs dancing in the Pavilion for Mama Rosin from Switzerland who called us Gentlefeet – I think this was before we danced!
We’ve been at Faversham Hop Festival which was a lovely sunny weekend, but not as hot as Tenterden. Who would have thought that in previous years it’s been such wet and windy weather! In between these we’ve been at The Good Intent in Rochester and the King’s Head in Bessel’s Green, as well as Sandwich’s first Folk’n'Ale Festival and Aylesford Village Fete – a very busy but great fun summer and we’d like to thank you all for coming along to support us.
We are starting to sort out our diary for 2012 so if you are thinking of booking us for an event please contact us as early as you can. We look forward to another year with you all.
