More Dancers Wanted

Do you want to try out a fun and energetic style of dance?

We are often being asked whether we teach. We do, by prior arrangement, mainly in the autumn and winter when we are not busy with folk festivals.

Come and visit us to see whether this style of dance is for you.

We perform a style of percussive dance from the Appalachian Mountains in the South-Eastern United States. It is related to many other dance styles such as Irish stepping, English clog dancing and modern tap dance. We are lucky enough to dance to a live band that plays traditional old time tunes (think: O Brother Where Art Thou?).  You may have seen us dancing at festivals in Rochester, Faversham, Tenterden etc.

We practise every Monday evening in
Ash Village Hall, The Street, Ash-cum-Ridley TN15 7HB.

What do you need? Energy and a pair of tap or hard soled shoes. Come along and give it a try.
